No35’s is proud to have reknowned Sommelier, Kjell Ove Almeland.
 
Norwegian born, Almeland has occupied various managerial positions at restaurants at Bergen, Norway before moving to Perth in 2004 as Restaurant Manager at Star Anise Restaurant, then Jackson’s Restaurant, Restaurant of the Year in the Western Australian Good Food Guide.  In March, 2011, Almeland came to Melbourne to take up the position of Sommelier at Vue de Monde.  Almeland is best known for being as Gourmet Traveller's 2010 Sommelier of The Year and during his tenure at Jackson’s Restaurant it received the 2010 Gourmet Traveller Wine, Wine List of the Year.
